Beatrix Weathersby lived in a remote location in Oklahoma until her family inherits a Bee Farm in Door County Wisconsin. She was homeschooled until they moved because they were so far from any schools.
Bea was content being homeschooled but also looked forward to going to a public school and meeting new friends in Wisconsin. Bea has no idea what school will be like, but it turns out to be nothing like she expected.
