I was invited to join Scribe Hive Publishing last fall. I learned about Scrive Hive when I was in a critique group with one of the members. Later I was in a class with my critique group friend as well as a Scribe Hive founder, and I was invited to become a member.
It’s been a great opportunity to work with some wonderful people. Scribe Hive is helping me to get my work published. Scribe Hive allows me to work with a great group of authors to share ideas who encourage and support each other. Check out their books on the Scribe Hive site.

My first book to be published will be Bea Yourself. It will be followed closely by Bea Nice and Bea Curious. After those I have ideas for additional books about Bea but still haven’t completed them. I need to see how the process goes and see if there is an interest in more stories about Beatrix Weathersby, the little girl in the books.
For my books I found a wonderful illustrator named Greta Hummingbird, who lives in Ireland. Greta has been a joy to work with and was able to translate my ideas into amazing images of my characters. I absolutely love everything she’s done. The first three books are illustrated and the covers are completed thanks to Greta. My covers are currently featured on Greta’s website.
My next project is getting my Magical Recipes books finished and printed. The first one, A Recipe for Disaster just came back from the editor and should also be ready soon. It’s a middle grade book with some mystery and magic. Greta Hummingbird will be working with me on these books as well, doing the covers and some interior images.
Keep checking back for more updates!
